Welcome to my website!
I’m Linda, a pet portrait, wildlife and landscape artist born and brought up in East Yorkshire in the UK. I am largely self-taught, working mainly in coloured pencil or acrylic paint, but I love to explore different techniques, media and subjects.
From a very young age, I always had a paintbrush or pencil close by. After a long break to concentrate on a career in the pharmaceutical industry and raise a family, I picked up the the pencils again in 2017 and soon began drawing pet portraits for family and friends.
I’m passionate about wildlife and the environment, which also inspires my art, and I love to paint landscapes, especially of the beautiful Yorkshire coast and countryside.
Leaving the corporate work in early 2024 has enabled me to devote time to my passion, and become available to take commissions. As a pet owner myself, I find it rewarding to to be able to create a realistic portrait that can be treasured for years to come.
