Ordering Process
Step 1: Send me a good quality photo of your pet (complete with ears!), preferably taken in natural light without a flash. Feel free to send several photos and I can help you to choose the best one. If this is a memorial portrait, I will do my best to work with the photos you have available, but please understand that it may be less detailed.
Please include the pet’s name(s) where possible.
For copyright reasons, if you didn’t take the photo yourself, the photographer’s permission is required.
Step 2: Once we have decided on the best reference photo, pick your size from the price list above. I will give you an estimated completion date.
Step 3: Secure your place in my diary with a non-refundable 50% deposit, payable by bank transfer. Work will not start until this has been received. The balance is payable when the portrait is finished and before shipping.
Step 4: Drawing! I will send you progress photos to make sure that you are happy with it, along with a final photo on completion. Note that I may post updates and the finished piece on my social media pages, unless you tell me that it’s a surprise gift.
Once I have started the drawing, I cannot make any changes!
Step 5: Final payment & shipping. The balance of the payment is due on completion of the drawing and prior to shipping.
Once final payment has been received, the finished piece will be shipped by Royal Mail 48 hour tracked delivery.
